CSE 476: Mobile Application Development

In CSE 476, I employed an open-ended, project-based learning approach that allowed students to develop personalized mobile applications using the Android Studio platform. I integrated emerging technologies, including Edge-AI, to equip students with cutting-edge skills in AI-driven mobile app development. Additionally, I developed an AI-powered grading tool to assist instructors in fairly and efficiently evaluating the diverse range of student projects. Accessibility and inclusiveness were central to my instructional design, ensuring that all students, regardless of their background or abilities, had equitable access to resources and support.

Incorporation of Technology

In my role as a Teaching Assistant for the CSE 476 Android Development course, the central technology I utilized was the Android Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE), alongside physical Android devices for testing, Edge-AI capabilities, and AI-powered grading tools. Each of these technological elements was chosen with a specific rationale in mind to enhance student learning, engagement, and overall course efficiency.
